Habiger & Associates is proud to serve as a sponsor of the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk 2001. The 8th annual Memory Walk event is the primary fund raising event of the association and helps to create awareness for local programs and services offered by the Greater Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. This year's event has set a fund raising goal of $60,000, with 600 walkers. The walk will be held September 22 at the Campus Lake boat docks at Southern Illinois University .

Richard Habiger serves on the Leadership Council for the Carbondale Office of the Greater Illinois Chapter, having previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Southern Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association.
